Give us a wedding full of relaxed style and good food, and we’re thrilled to pieces, so for The Feast Issue, we couldn’t have thought of a better nod to the deliciousness of a feast style wedding than today’s editorial, inspired by a romantic picnic.

Capture in stills and motion by La Este Film,  at the beautiful, country venue of Providence Gully, our team’s vision came to life. The wooden barn with all its rustic beauty lending itself to the ceremony backdrop, a look our team styled centred around a triangle arch from Modern Love Style Co surrounded with freshly styled blooms by Flawless Event Creations.

The celebration continuing with the much anticipated, picnic reception. A Tipikata naked tipi, styled with cushions from Restore Grace, rugs from Meraki & Rose, and plenty of candles from Soy Ivy, Aroma Pot Soy Candles and Candle Kiosk topped off with a whimsical balloon garland from 99 Luft Bendigo.

And it was Jess of  Flawless Event Creations that brought this editorial to life with her styling, sharing. “The shoot as a whole was created as an elopement. The picnic along with the small naked tipi was perfect for creating an intimate feel. I love that we added the balloons to the tipi, a very unique look that turned out amazing.” And we have to agree because rugs, pillows are always inviting and a much-needed styling element for picnic weddings. They practically beg your guests to grab a drink, their favourite food and laze for hours, in celebration of course!

Our “bride”  Jess & Tribe enjoying herself in a gorgeous lace off the shoulder  Co & Ry gown. Her look, of loose wave and natural makeup styled by  Megan Gerlach, her look finished with jewels from Redki Couture Jeweller and  LuLuDu shoes.

And because we’re all about the feasting this month, let’s talk about the food. Firstly the grazing platter- this was conjured up by  The Botanist and was just the ticket for a lazy picnic-style meal. And then, because woodfired pizza is always a delight, Happy Camper Pizza Truck whipping up delicious pizzas right on-site – completely adding to the rustic, but welcoming vibe of the “Wedding”. And dessert? A floral adorned, tiered wedding cake crafted by You Cake Me Crazy.

Stylist Jess sharing “We had a wonderful team on the day of the shoot and the weather was just stunning. Not a cloud in the sky! Personally, as the florist and stylist, watching this shoot come together after months of planning and preparation was a dream come true.”
